Please move this item to the Old-Time Radio collection:

P.S. I had a heck of a time editing this item. I had a link to an Archive search that led to a wonky result, so I used the word-processor-looking editor to delete the link, then add a different, slightly reworded one. After that, the formatting went to Hell, and the buttons in the editor wouldn't do anything, neither in the preview window nor on the actual page. Luckily I realized that you could click the double-headed arrow to edit the HTML by hand and keyboard, the way God intended.

Thank you, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

Hello, OTRites; here's a New Year's Eve episode of Amos & Andy that you may enjoy. No listening until after Christmas morning is out of the way, though! (I'm getting it moved now in case the internet is closed for Christmas and Boxing Day.)

As always, if you think uploading shows that already exist on The Archive is a dumb idea, say so; I won't mind.

Big Ups to Archive member SmokyValleyRomeo, whose insightful review on another Amos & Andy page pointed me to this very good, very innovative, and very stirring episode. (Luckily, I saved some 'Big Ups' from the '90s.)

P.S. Thanks, Eva, for helping me with the article!

Thanks, Mr. Kaplan.

I have a question about this page, and an issue with another of my uploads:

1 - The first file in the player on this page says that the running time is 56:13, although it's actually about 28 minutes. Is this a bug on The Archive, or is it just a wonky mp3, perhaps with an oddball bitrate?

It's not a big deal; I just thought I'd mention it in case it was a bug in the system.

2 - One of my uploads, a practice page that I made when I was learning how to be an uploader, and still experiment with, has moved into some collection. I don't know if it was an Archive hiccup, or if someone moved it for some reason.

Is it true that the uploader is the only one who can move or delete a page, or ask that it be done?

Regardless, I'd kinda like this item to be moved back to Community Audio; I feel like I've been kidnapped.

Thanks, and Happy Holidays!

Thanks again, Mr. Kaplan. #1 is not a huge deal; the player works at the proper speed and all. Like I said, I just thought it may be a problem on your end that needed attention. Thanks for #2.
